I woke up this morning to something I haven't experienced much in London...the sun was shining through my window!!! I decided that was a sign that I was supposed to go for a run this morning. I ate some breakfast, worked on a little homework, and laced up my sneaks. The route I chose went through Camden and to Regent's Park. I ran all over that park and it was incredible! It felt so great to be running outside in the sun in this beautiful setting. I ran around for 80 minutes and returned home to quickly clean up. Then I packed myself a little sandwich and banana, grabbed my book, and headed to Hyde Park to find a grassy place to chill. I was facing the water, staring into the sun, eating my lunch, and reading a great book. This was an ideal day for me. It really does not get much better than that.
After about an hour in the park, I headed toward school, stopped and got some London Gelato (it was pretty decent actually), and then caught the 274 bus back to Woodland Court. I had to do some laundry and then made myself a tasty little dinner. Oh and I almost forgot to tell you; last night Kirsten and I went to Chinatown for dinner!! It was soooo yummy. We got rice, sweet and sour chicken, and vegetable beef. Then they brought out orange slices for dessert (it was kind of strange but the oranges were tasty). I also was forced to use chopsticks since that was the only utensils present at the table and I was too scared to ask for a fork...I had to kind of stab the chickens, but it all worked out.
Now tonight I'm not sure what I will be doing but it will probably be pretty low key. I am trying to stay on a budget of 80 pounds a week so I probably won't be going out too much for the remainder of the trip. That's okay though because everything in London is so expensive! So I will probably watch a movie with my roomie and have some junk food...sounds like a good night to me :)
Goodnight to all! Love and miss everyone!
