Don't worry guys, The Little Londoner is still alive!

Wow, I feel so weird for not blogging since Sunday! I just really haven't done too much exciting stuff so far this week and didn't want to bore you...the weather has been kind of shittay (pardon my French) so it's been difficult to do much these past few days.

As you all know, Monday (Feb. 14th) was the dreaded Valentine's Day...ugh how I hate that holiday (I'm sure it would be different if I had somebody to buy ME teddy bears and chocolates and flowers!) so Monday was kind of a drag. It seemed like everywhere I looked people were carrying flowers and boxes of assorted chocolates, and couples were even more intiment on the tube than usual...vom! So to ease the pain, Monica, Kirsten and I decided we would celebrate by having a lovely night in. We ordered a pizza from Papa Johns (yea, they deliver!) and Monica got us a bottle of wine. We ate the entire pizza :) It was really good but there pizza here tastes just a little different than back home. It of course comes in smaller portions-we ordered the XL, and it was probably the size of a small or medium in the U.S. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed it.

Afterwords, we wanted to go out for some yummy dessert but decided 1) we didn't want to see all the couples macking on each other and 2) we wanted to save money so instead we hit up the local Londis (corner convienence store) and we each got 1 litre of ice cream...I got mint chocolate chip and it was delicious! Then it was time to get ready for bed, but I stayed up till around 12:30 reading...I would highly suggest the Milennium series books to anyone out there who likes a good thriller. I cannot stop reading and am already on page 230 of book 2!

Tuesday was pretty lame as well. I wanted to go for a run in the morning but on Sunday I ran for 1 hour 30 minutes and my calves are pretty tight so I decided to skip the runski. Instead I walked around Hyde Park and had planned to find a nice grassy spot to eat lunch and read but that didn't happen because it started to rain on me :( So I headed back to the flat to eat my lunch.

The most exciting thing that happend so far this week was going to WICKED!!! This was by far my most favorite show I have ever seen! It was incredible. It's the story of the good and wicked witch while they were growing up. The singing was incredible (especially Defying Gravity). I read some reviews and watched youtube clips when I got home because I am that big of a nerd and found out a lot of people think thie girl who plays Alphaba (wicked witch) is the best one ever-even better than Idina Menzel! She was amazing. So I was kind of on a high last night after seeing the show. I have already experienced more musicals in the past 7 weeks than ever in my life and I feel so lucky to be able to have this experience!!

Now today (Wednesday) it is actually sunny and should get to around 50 degrees! I am going to try to go for a run in a little bit but that may slowly turn into a walk :) Then I have to go back to the Tate Modern museum for my british museum class. Later tonight I am planning on hitting up a pub to get some CIDER BLACK (I have not had it for about 2 weeks and am having withdrawals!!) Since I only have 3 weeks left, I must get in as much as possible :)

Hope the sun finds you all today!

Love and miss everyone!
Cheers,

Little Londoner
