Today was rather fun. Since I didn't have class today I decided I was going to go and finish off the scenic walking tour that I never got to finish last weekend. I started by taking the tube to the Covent Garden station. I though Covent Garden would be right there when I exited the station but it wasn't. So I walked around for a while and did a little shopping but surprisingly I didn't buy anything!!! For some reason I don't feel like spending money at the moment...I know I don't get it either!

After walking around for about 2 hours, I finally came across Covent Garden Market but it didn't seem as appealing as it did on the tour. So I decided to go and find Big Ben. Unfortunatly, I couldn't remember how to get to him so I just kept walking around in circles exploring different streets. I thought I finally found Westminster Abbey but it was actually the Royal Courts of Justice (see pictures above). It was a really neat building but I was a little sad I couldn't find what I originally set out to find.

By this time it was around 1PM and I was starting to get hungry. I got back on the tube and hit up the little cafe near our flats. The man helping me was so lovely and helpful. I decided on a tuna sweetcorn sandwich and a latte. I ordered it for "take-away" because here in London it's cheaper if you don't dine it. Overall it was a pretty uneventful, rainy, cold day in London. Hopefully tonight will bring something exciting :)
