We then proceeded to cross this cool bridge called Millenium bridge that goes over the River Thames. There was a story to go along with the River and how it created London but I may have forgot that part...sorry!
Then we saw the Globe Theatre. This is where Shakespear put on shows and we learned all about the theatre. I guess back in the old days if people hated the performance they would throw tomatos and whatever else they had at the performers! How sad...but it felt so crazy standing in the same place that Shakespear once was.
We got to see the London Bridge which was very surprising. I had always thought it was the big lift bridge but that one is actually called Tower Bridge...the London Bridge is just a normal looking bridge. We walked across Tower Bridge and went to London's South Bank to find some lunch. It was freezing today and really windy so everyone was pretty chilled. I couldn't feel my fingers so it was really hard to take pictures :)

The girls of flat 20A!
For lunch we went to the Gourmet Burger Cafe. I had the most amazing burger ever! It was about the size of my head and was made up of sweet potatoes, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, "rocket" (i have no idea what this was), salad (lettuce), and relish. I had to cut it with a knife to eat it because it was soooo big! Of course, I ate it all though :) This girl knows how to eat...I'm a Fletcher!
After lunch we learned about London's castle which houses the crown jewels. The Queen's crown is made up of rubies, emeralds, diamons, and pearls! I bet her neck starts to hurt after a while...
Ceiling of Harrod's!
That was the last stop of the day and after that we hopped on the tube and headed back to our flat as everyone was pretty tired from all the walking. It'll probably be an early night as we have part 2 of the London scenic early tomorrow morning!
Don't worry, I will update you all on that tomorrow :)
Love and miss you all!!!
